I recently reposted a blog that I had written about 6 months ago that relates to an important and currently issue in the massage community. The issue is confusion over employee practice or independent contractor practice. I am not a lawyer. If you have specific questions about your status contact the IRS, Department of Labor, or legal counsel.
Minnesota was the first state to give owners the right to cancel a contract for storm damage repair if the owner’s insurance carrier denied any part of the claim. That law went into effect in May of 2011. The original law applied only to roofing and siding repairs. On May 19, 2015, Minnesota Statutes § 326B.811 was revised to give owners the right to cancel a contract for any type of storm damage repair (not just roofing and siding) if any part of the insurance claim was denied.
Most do not want to work, and there is little a company can do about it! It is almost impossible for a company here to sack a Saudi worker, the rights all belong to the Saudi! Some actually employ Saudis that never attend just to make up their required numbers, these Saudis being paid to do absolutely nothing, purely an overhead for the company to maintain!
Although bankruptcy is a dreary process, Yolanda has compassion for the clients she works with, many of whom got into their present financial crises as a result of a medical emergency or an extended period of unemployment. Yolanda enjoys her vocational career as a paralegal at a bankruptcy firm, which exposes her to many facets of the financial industry, and she likes the fast-paced, diverse nature of her work.
Don’t base your buying decisions from a single specification, such as a Watts-Per-Channel rating. A single spec, taken out of context with other factors, does not give you an accurate picture of the receiver/amplifiers true capabilities. There are many other factors to take into consideration, and never buy any receiver/amplifier without giving a good listen for yourself. Make sure the dealer allows a 30-day satisfaction period or other accommodation for return/exchange if you are not happy with the performance of the unit.
